 Producer bio
VIRUS J a.k.a. Justin C
Coming from Lithuania, a country throughout the superstar DJ’s known for its
wild club scene, Virus J is one of the few who has left a deep imprint in dance
music history here and spread the message beyond its borders. What started as a
debut with Piliavin & Zimbardo “Distraekt” label in 2005 when his single
“Cocain/Get Drunk” reached the 6th place in Holland’s club music charts, now
extends to more than 20 record companies impatiently waiting for more. Virus J
is undoubtedly one of the most productive producers to come out the Baltic
States. Remixes for Dj Pierre, Matt Samuels, Kriece, Moussa Clarke, Le Ron &
Yves Eaux, Deep Forest, Rui Da Silva, Muzikjunki and many more made a small
town boy to a real dance music heavyweight, who was recently been remixed by
Sandy Rivera himself. Yes, Sandy Rivera! The legendary soul of “Kings of
Tomorrow” during his last visit to Lithuania’s capital Vilnius was introduced to the
local sound and few weeks later track “Try it” got a new version with Sandy
Rivera written all over it. Varying from deep & melodic progressive house to
energy throbbing techno Virus J’s tracks have earned huge support from John
Digweed, Markus Schulz, Thoman Penton, Piliavin & Zimbardo, Anthony Pappa,
That Kid Chris, Peter Rauhofer, Chus & Ceballos, Aldrin, D-Formation, DJ 19, Niki
B & Christian E.F.F.E., Red & Blue, Deepgroove, Flash Brothers, Hybrid, Deepsky
just to name a few.
Debut album “Addictive” released in 2009 is a crystal clear window to style & the
energy he brings with him to the gigs. 12 carefully selected tracks came out as a
CD to be sold in Lithuania’s record stores thus putting another success point in
his carrier.
Virus J is by no means only a DJ. Multiple live projects that involved vocalists &
instrumentals have become a wonderful addition to his ever rising legacy. One of
the most successful – collaboration with MTV award winning singer Jurga.
Together with his accomplice Andy Lau they were the only Live act to warm up
legendary Underworld band in Baltic States. He has also shared the stage with
Tiesto, Armin van Burren, John Digweed, D Ramirez, Tiefschwarz, Sandy Rivera
and many others.
Currently a proud member Pacha family and a resident of Pacha Vilnius club he
extends his horizons by hosting a weekly radio show “Pro-duce Music” on
nationally transmitted radio “Zip FM” together with Andy Lau and being a coowner
of “Pro-duce Records” label.
