Robytek started his career just sixteen, playing disco music in a small town radio (named Matisse DJ). Afterwards, he gained respect through Underground Lombardia's scene and, in the early 80’s, was fascinated by Afro Cosmic Sound ,experimentation and evolution of a very innovative style, out of any scheme, which greatly combines different sounds, from funk to new wave, from electronic music to house. Robytek established his name playing in many clubs and festivals around the north of Italy, alongside great pioneer djs like Rubens and Daniele Baldelli. During the 90’s Robytek worked as sound engeneer in a few recording studios collaborating with many producers. In 2005 he gave life to the project Belivers with his friend Jason Rooney, producing “You’ll never change (The World)”. The track has been signed to Oxyd Records in Italy and sung by the super talented singer Chelonis R. Jones. The single, released early in 2006 with mixes from Dave Seaman and Oliver Koletzki, ended to be played by all the top international djs, including Pete Tong, who hammered it in the Essential Selection. In 2007 Robytek joins Shield’s Rebirth Record with his new production “Sun”, which has been released in September with remixes from Simon Baker and Gold Ryan. The record has been played by Pete Tong in the Essential Selection, Judge Jules, and Sasha live from Amnesia (Essential Mix on BBC Radio1), and has been one of the tunes in Ibiza during the summer 2007. Remixes for The Droyds and Adam K & Soha followed on Rebirth, and his last single “Luna Africana” released in April 2008 with a hot mix from Roland Appel received a big support from djs like Gabriel Ananda (who charted it at n.1), Pete Tong, Laurent Garnier, Tiefschwarz, Solomun, Josh Wink, Dixon ecc… Robytek just produced a new special single with Shield and the legendary voice of Foremost Poets, called “Pump it”, released on Rebirth in December 2008 with mixes from Hugo, Terry Farley & Rocky and Lemon Popsicle ecc…..
